Montessori Teachers Training. MTT
Montessori is an educational approach that focuses on helping children learn independently and naturally, based on how they develop.
It was created by Dr. Maria Montessori, an Italian doctor and educator.
Core ideas of Montessori
- Child-led learning: Children choose activities they’re interested in.
- Hands-on learning: Children learn by using real objects and materials.
- Learn at your own pace: No rushing or comparing children to each other.
- Independence: Children are encouraged to do things for themselves.
- Teacher as a guide: The teacher observes and supports rather than lectures.
What a Montessori classroom looks like

- Children working individually or in small groups
- Mixed ages (for example, ages 3–6 together)
- Materials on low shelves that children can access themselves
